Paga Established Its First Centre at the Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos

Paga which is a popular mobile payments provider in the country has established a centre in the popular Computer Village in Ikeja, Lagos.  The company disclosed this in its official Twitter page on 12 October, 2015. The tweet reads “cheers to a new beginning! CEO @oviosu commissions the first Paga Centre at Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos! :D.”

This is the first centre the company is opening in this popular Computer Village. Paga’s customers in the market will be able to make pay their bill, send and receive payment, recharge their mobiles and also send payment to their merchants and retailers through the company’s platform.

Paga works in partnership with mobile network providers, banks and trusted merchants in order to provide reliable and efficient services to their clients.

Paga has been able to get US$13million through a number of means such as Venture Capital firms and Angel Investors. The company plans to utilize the fund in enhancing its agents network, establishing business rapport with financial institutions in order to provide its customers with massive agent network and creating innovative solutions for small and medium enterprises.

Paga was established in 2009 by Tayo Oviosu and Jay Alabraba. The company offers mobile payment services with a license from the CBN. It has its headquarters in Lagos. But it also provides its services outside of the country.
