Smile Communications Nigeria Limited Produced Nigeria’s First LTE Smartphone In Collaboration with Samsung

Smile Communications Nigeria Limited which was first the company to provide 4G LTE in Nigeria has produced the Nigeria first long-term evolution compliant (LTE) smartphone in partnership with Samsung Electronics West Africa.

With the production of this phone, Smile has again made history by being the first company in Nigeria to partner with Samsung one of the electronics company with global reputation.

According to a joint statement signed by Alero Ladipo, the Chief Marketing Officer of Smile Communication and Emmanouil Revmatas, the Director, Information Technology and Mobile of Samsung Electronics West Africa, the introduction of the phone satisfied Smile’s aspiration to offer not just a reliable but super-fast internet services in Nigeria. The two companies emphasized on the need to improve on customers’ experience through their product.

Nigerians who will want to buy the phone will find it in any of the Smile stores across the country as well as in some selected Samsung stores.

Ladipo who spoke about the company’s collaboration with Samsung said that Smile would pay attention to this type of collaboration in order to meet the end-to-end need of consumers.

Talking about the benefits of the company’s partnership with Samsung to the consumers, Ladipo said that with the partnership, their customer would be able to get Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge with complimentary clear cover from Samsung and a fixed price for the 5GB bundle SmileOn plan.

Revmatas who spoke about the features of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge which is the latest Samsung LTE-compliant smartphone described the phone as the ultimate premium smartphone saying that it is the first smartphone in the world that comes with dual curved edge display.

According to the Revmatas, the collaboration of the two companies was the first of its kind in Nigeria. He said that the collaboration was an eloquent confirmation of the company’s drive for novelty in the world’s smartphone market.

With the collaboration, Nigerians will be able to have 4G experience on a unique smartphone. With 4G LTE mobile network on their phone, they would be able to download and upload things on the internet quickly, make video calls and play music and enjoy video streaming without any interruption.
