MTN has introduced a new subscription package in which incoming calls in 15 countries are free to subscribers roaming in those countries.
In the a statement issued by the company, the new development will give the user’s of MTN mobile services that subscribe for the plan the benefit of receiving incoming calls free of charge when they travel to any of the 15 countries listed.
The listed countries are the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Italy, Germany, Canada, Netherlands, Malaysia, Belgium, Spain, South Africa, Turkey, Ghana, Kenya, France and Saudi Arabia.
MTN customers that would like to subscribe for the service are to use up to NGN2,000 worth of airtime within a month or activate it directly with $10 or N2,000.
In order to be eligible for this service, the subscribers are required to be on Postpaid, Prepaid or e-Post paid subscription plans.
The outgoing calls in this plan will be charged for N60 (30 cents) per minute in any of the 15 countries.
