Chief Of Army Staff Gifts Three-bedroom Flat To Evicted 85-year-old Army Veteran In Kaduna

The Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, has donated a three-bedroom flat to an 85-year-old retired staff sergeant of the Nigerian Army, Paul Ojo, following his forceful eviction from his residence by officials of the Kaduna State Government.

The donation was done by General Officer Commanding 1 Division, U.S Mohammed, on behalf of Buratai on Tuesday in Kaduna.

He said, ”the Chief of Army Staff got information about the unfortunate circumstances that led to your ejection from your erstwhile residence at Kabala Constain on 17 of August, 2020.

The COAS went on to wish the retiree and his family well in their new home, as he encourages him to continue to uphold the positive tenets of the Nigeria Army.
