Deji Akinwande, an American-based Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering has expressed the desire to partner with Nigeria in the area of research, development and technology.
Prof. Akinwande who the US government has been named for the highest award for scientists and engineers showed interest in established a synergy with Nigeria in technology during a chat with Guardian pressmen.
According to Prof Akinwande, specific opportunities have been discovered in two institutions in Lagos and Ondo states. He said his is happy as plans for his extended visit in order to contribute to the development of the project is on the way.
According to him, the projects’ major focus is on industrial nanomaterials and commodity technology for health.
