Leader of the dreaded ‘One Million’ in Ibadan, Oyo state, Biola a.k.a Ebila, was reportedly killed on Sunday afternoon by suspected rival thugs loyal to late Moshood Ekugbemi.
Ebila, who has been declared wanted by the Oyo state police command for his involvement in the death Ekugbemi, a leader of another group, was reportedly murdered in his hide out around Olomi area of Ibadan.
He was said to have fled from his permanent residence in Kudeti, a suburb in Ibadan, for fear of reprisal attack by late Ekugbemi’s group.
Moshood Ekugbemi was murdered on the 12th of May, this year, by a group led by Ebila.
Although, it was rumoured that Ebila engaged operatives of the ‘Operation Burst’, a security outfit in Oyo state who were trying to effect his arrest, when he was gunned down.
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Gbenga Fadeyi when contacted said he was still gathering information on how it happened.
According to him, “I am still trying to get the true picture on how the incident happened. Immediately we are through with the enough information, I will get across to you. Thanks”.
