The spokesman of ‎the Admawa Police Command, DSP Othman Abubakar confirmed the death of eleven persons in the attack, adding that three houses were burnt while many of the wounded were receiving treatment at the hospital in Yola.

Meanwhile, the insurgents reportedly seized a military vehicle conveying food supplies on Friday around 5 pm at Gubla village. A tea seller was also abducted at the village.
