Iceland’s National Team Coach, Heimir Hallgrimsson has said the defensive tactics which earned them a 1-1 draw against Argentina, in their opening game would be applied against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

He claimed that it is a must-win for the Super Eagles, which makes it normal to for the Eagles to want to throw everything they have at his team. He however added that, ‘parking the bus’, a tactics by which Jose Mourinho of Manchester United is best known for, would be his best option when his team faces Nigeria.

”It is a must-win game for Nigeria, that makes it a little bit technical, they have to win, at least we know that,” Hallgrimsson told reporters.

”A draw will be okay for us, at least we have a chance in the last game.
”This group is going to be decided in the last minute, in the last game, it is going to be down to some margins: set piece, extra-time goal.”

Nigeria who lost their opening game in the ongoing 2018 FIFA World Cup against Croatia, 2-0, will face the Icelandic National Team on Friday, the 22 of June.

Heimir Hallgrimsson is a part-time dentist, aside coaching Iceland’s National Team.
