Six persons escape from Osun isolation center after testing positive to Covid-19

Three persons who tested positive to the dreaded Covid-19 have escaped from the isolation center in Ejigbo, Osun state.

This was confirmed the state government, who also said a manhunt has been launched to find them.

They were said to have escaped from the center late Friday night.

The escapees are part of the cluster of COVID-19 cases who returned to their hometown, Ejigbo, from Ivory Coast last week and were quarantined by the state government.

However, in statement signed by an unnamed Director of Media, the names and phone numbers of the six persons is listed as follows:

Ile Alawe, Ejigbo,

Baale compound Ejigbo

Members of the public are urged to report to the nearest police station, if they come in contact with any of these persons or know their whearabout.
