The Nigerian senate confirmed 18 ministers on Wednesday, all of who have passed through the screening process.
However, the Senate were only able to screen eight candidates today, and there after had to halt the process and continue on Thursday.
More so, with the ten candidates screened on Tuesday, coupled with the eight who passed screening today, the Senate has confirmed a total of eighteen candidates as ministers, pending when other candidates get screened.
Senate President Bukola Saraki thereafter proceeded to reading the names of all 18 candidates who have been sreened so far, while asking his colleagues to confirm by saying “aye” or rejecting by saying “nay”.
The nominees now confirmed to be ministers are:

5. Osagie Ehanire
6. Abdulrahman Dambazau
7. Lai Mohammed
8. Amina Mohammed
9. Suleiman Adamu
10. Ibrahim Jibril
11. Babatunde Fashola
12. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu
13. Abubakar Malami
14. Chris Ngige
15. Aisha Alhassan
16. Solomon Dalong
17. Kemi Adeosun
18. Hadi Sirika
Two outstanding nominees are still pending, they are; Adebayo Shittu of Oyo state and Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers state.
