The Nigeria Army has blacklisted another Non-governmental organization (NGO), Mercy Corps, from humanitarian works in Borno State and Yobe State.

This is coming less than a week after another NGO, Actions Against Hunger, was banned by the Army for providing drugs and foodstuffs to Boko Haram.

According to the military, it’s troops had intercepted about N29 million in a vehicle belonging to the NGO.

A source, who confirmed the suspension of Mercy Corps to SaharaReporters said, “We have banned Mercy Corps from operating in entire Gwoza local government area of Borno State.”
