Gunmen have kidnapped 17 students and also killed one when they invaded the Greenfield University in Kaduna State on Tuesday.
The State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the incident to journalists on Wednesday.
Mr. Aruwan during the visit to the school disclosed that the victim is a staff of the private university.
However, one of the non-academic staff of the institution gave the names of kidnapped students who are all male as:
