Buhari Drops Ahmed Isa Ibeto From Ministerial Nominees

Published

on

Ahead of Wednesday’s ministerial screening, President Muhammadu Buhari, today withdrew the name of the immediate past deputy-governor of Niger State, Ahmed Musa Ibeto, from the already submitted list of ministerial nominee.

A letter has been written to this effect. The withdrawal of Ibeto, was to correct an error from the presidency in fielding two ministerial nominees from Niger state.(Abubakar Bawa Bwari is also from Niger State).

However, as of now nothing has been said about a replacement for him, as Abuja is yet to get a Minster; more so, the Constitution demands that each State must produce a minister.
