Three students of Dowen College, Lekki, whose names were mentioned by 12- year-old student, Sylvester Oromoni, said to have been bullied to death for refusing to join their cult group, are in the custody of the police.
This was made known by the Lagos state police commissioner, Hakeem Odumosu, during a programme on Channels TV on Tuesday.
Mr. Odumosu, described the students in custody and two others as ‘prime suspects’ but did not reveal their names.
The police had earlier invited the management of the school and the five students, who were mentioned by the deceased innl a video before his death for questioning on Monday.
The police boss also stated that the command is working with its counterpart in Delta to conduct a post mortem on the body of the deceased student.
