25-year-old suspect arrested for stealing FRSC patrol vehicle



A 25-year-old man, Hamisu Tukur, has been arrested by the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, for stealing a vehicle belonging to the Federal Road Safety Corps Headquarters, stationed at SkyMemorial, Wuse Zone 5.

Hamisu was arrested in the outskirt of Bwari, a town in the Federal Capital, after he stole the vehicle on September 5.

The spokesman of the Command, Anjuguri Manzah, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.

He said police operatives from Bwari Division detained the suspect during a stop and search operation, following a call received from the FRSC Headquarters by the Command’s control room.

The exhibits recovered from Tukur one white Toyota Hilux with plate Number: HQ-26RS, and a single key.
