Yes Mobile in partnership with AXAMansard now offers its customers free insurance on all phones and computers bought via the company’s outlet.
Foluso Ogunwale, the CEO of Yes Mobile who disclosed this explained that with the new development, their customers were covered against screen damages which according to him are very expensive to repair. The customer of the company as mentioned would also be able to cover their phones against damage resulting from liquid intrusion. He said that his company was the first to make this type of offer in the local mobile phone retail space. In order to popularize this innovative service, the company is providing complimentary insurance free of charge on devices purchased.
Mr. Ogunwale in his speech also disclosed that the company has introduced improved installment payment plan in which customers can purchase phones and pay for them within a period of six months. This new plan is offered in collaboration with Page MFB. The spread payment plan as he called the new initiative would be made convenient to the customers and would be processed quickly.
Ogunwale explained that Yes Mobile made this offering based on its conviction that customers were entitled to more value for money. Smartphones according him is at 30% spread in Nigeria. Thus, he highlighted on the commitment of the company in providing more smart phones to local consumers through innovative services as well as excellent customer experience.
