Stoke City Signs Nigerian Midfielder, Peter Etebo

English Team, Stoke City Football Club has signed Nigerian Midfielder, Peter Etebo, for a fee of €7.2million, from Portuguese Club, Feirense.

This was disclosed via the English Club’s official Twitter handle @stokecity: The tweet reads;

Stoke City are delighted to announce the signing of Nigerian international Oghenekaro Peter Etebo on a five-year contract

The 22-year-old midfielder joins the Potters from Portuguese side Feirense for a fee of €7.2million

However, the delighted Etebo, while confirming the transfer, said he will resume with his new team after the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

“Happy to be a Potter! See you guys after the World Cup!” – Etebo tweeted.

It will be recalled that Stoke City FC until the recently concluded season, were in the English Premiership League, before their eventual relegation to the English Championship League.
