MTN has finally withdrew a lawsuit the company initiated against NCC in order to enhance the atmosphere for negotiation.
The CEO of MTN Nigeria spoke on the decision of the company to withdraw a court case it initiated against Nigeria Authorities. He describe the step taken by the MTN as an encouraging development one which showed that MTN and NCC were willing to work together to ensure a possible and friendly relegation.
The company has gone further to pay NCC N50 as part of the fine to show that it is dedicated towards resolving the issue amicably.
Ferdi said the withdrawal of the lawsuit and the part payment of N50 billion was a clear indication that the company was dedicated to finding a solution to the problem.
Ferdi mentioned that the payment of the fine and withdrawal of the lawsuit was an eloquent testimony of the company’s dedication towards providing a solution that would benefit all parties. He described their company in the country as an important example significant progress in ICT.
