Mikel Obi & Victor Moses Out of Super Eagles Qualifier, Emenike In

Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has left John Obi Mikel and his Chelsea FC team mate, Victor Moses out of the Super Eagles team, ahead of the team’s qualiying match against Tanzania, for the 2017 African Cup Nations.

However, 18 foreign-based players were invited by the head coach. Some of the foreign based players who made the list includes; Emmanuel Emenike, Goalkeeper and captain Vincent Enyeama, Godfrey Oboabona, Leon Balogun and Kenneth Omeruo, Rabiu Ibrahim, Lukman Haruna and Joel Obi, and Ahmed Musa and Anthony Ujah.

Carl Ikeme, a goalkeeper with English Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers, was also given a call-up.

All the 18 players, who will join up with the 23 home based players are expected in Abuja on Monday, August 31, 2015.
