Falconets Wallop Liberia 7-0

Nigeria women’s U20 team, the Falconets, have qualified for the next round of the qualifying phase for the 2016 U-20 Women World Cup, in Papua New Guinea after a 14-1 aggregate win over Liberia.

On Saturday, the falconets who were in high spirits walloped their Liberian counterparts, 7-0. The first leg ended with the same score except for the fact that the Liberian side were able to put one back into the Nigerian net on their home soil. The reverse was however the case, when they played the falconets yesterday on home soil.

Aminat Yakubu and Joy Bokiri scored a brace each, while the hat-trick heroine from the first leg, Adeboyejo also getting a piece of the cake when she put one past the Liberian goalee.

More so, Chinansa Uchendu and Amarachi Ojiinma were also on target as the match ended 7 nil, in favour of the Nigeriam side.
