Nigeria‘s Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu has called for stronger diplomatic and economic ties between Nigeria and The Republic of Korea.
DSP Ekweremadu made this call while receiving Korean Ambassador to Nigeria, Noh Kyu Duk in his office in Abuja on Tuesday August 4, 2015.
During the reception, Ekweremadu extolled The Republic of Korea‘s nice gestures towards supporting the socio-economic advancement of Nigeria by offering help in the nation‘s agriculture, education and Information and Communication Technology sector.
After that, he said, “both countries share some political history and it is also good we share development ideas”.
He further remarked that Nigeria and Korea‘s parliamentary diplomacy had facilitated bilateral relations between both countries and would further strengthen the ties for Nigeria‘s benefit.
