EFCC Raids Club 57, In Ikoyi, Arrests ‘Yahoo Boys’

Operative of the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, raided Club 57, in the Ikoyi, Lagos metropolis, following a tip off, that some suspected fradusters were hanging out within the night club

According to the report, the fraudsters, on sighting the operatives, ran in different directions; however, some were not so lucky, as twelve of them were arrested and ten exotic cars seized from from them.

A few others were able to resist arrest, while abadoning their vehicles.

The anti-graft agency, later confirmed this through their official Twitter handle, @officialEFCC. The tweet read, ” Operatives of the EFCC early this morning raided Club 57 in Ikoyi, acting on intelligence report of activities of suspected Internet fraudsters. While some abandoned their exotic cars to evade arrest, some others resisted. 12 suspects were arrested, with 10 cars recovered.”

Those found guilty will be charged to court, after investigations are conpleted.
