Deji Adeyanju’s Health Worsens After Attack, Flown Abroad For Treatment

Human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju, who was physically brutalised on Monday in Abuja by thugs suspected to be working for the government, has been flown abroad for medical treatment.

Adeyanju and other protesters with him were participating in a peaceful demonstration tagged #FreedomRally in front of the National Human Rights Commission, when they came under attack.

He was hospitalized after the attack, and was reportedly said to be in critical condition from injuries which sustained during the attack. He was left him with deep cuts all over his body was said to be struggling to breathe.

The activist was flown to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he would be receiving comprehensive medical treatment.

Other prostesters who participated in the peaceful demonstration, were also attacked by the hired thugs, while policemen and other security agenta looked on.
