Former Nigerian presidents are currently in a closed door virtual meeting with president Muhammadu Buhari.

Although the agenda of the meeting was not revealed to the public, but it is believed that it can not be unconnected to the recent surge in insecurity and killings of unarmed #EndSARS protesters.

President Buhari is seen in the picture presiding over the meeting from the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Other leaders however, connected to the meeting virtually.

Those participating virtually include General Yakubu Gowon (retd.); former President Olusegun Obasanjo; Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar (retd.); former President Goodluck Jonathan and Chief Ernest Shonekan.

Meanwhile, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd.); Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olanisakin; Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu; Director-General, Department of State Services, Yusuf Bichi; and Director-General, National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Rufai, among others are attending with the President.
