Ahead of the 71st UN General Assembly, President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has arrived New York.
He is expecting to deliver a keynote address on, “Taking Climate Action Towards Sustainable Development In Nigeria and The Lake Chad Basin”.
Also lined up as part of his visit, the President is expected to meet with his United States of America counterpart, Barack Obama, to discuss issues bordering on security and counterinsurgency operations. He will also sign investment trade agreement.
The President is in the company of Governor of Lagos State, Akinwumi Ambode and AbdulAziz Yari, the Governor of Zamfara and other delegates.
