BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Bomb Blasts Hit Abuja

Scores of people have been reportedly killed with many others injured after suicide bombers detonated multiple bombs in the Nigerian Capital, Abuja at about 10pm on Friday night; with two explosions recorded in Kuje, a suburb of the city and a third, in Nyanya.

The first occurred in front of the police station when a female suicide bomber detonated an improvised explosive, while the second occurred at the town’s main market, 15 minutes apart from the other.

More so, the third explosion was reported at Nyanya Bus Station thereafter. It could be recalled that, Nyanya was the scene of two bombings in 2014.

Wilson Inalegwu, FCT Commissioner of Police has confirmed the incident.

However, security operatives are at various scene’s, evacuating the injured. The number of dead person’s has been put at 17, with 32 others injured, though figures may defer.

The dreaded Boko Haram sect is suspected.
