A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki, bail on self-recognition after he pleaded not guilty to a charge of illegal possession of firearms.
It could be recalled that the Directorate of State Security, had earlier in July searched the former NSA’s resident, where they found some military firearms and bulletproof vehicles and subsequently, filed a suit against him in August, for illegal possession of firearms and armoured vehicles.
However, the court has decided to grant the former NSA bail after he pleaded not guilty.
