Faisal, the 20-year old son of former Chairman of defunct Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina has been granted N60m bail and a surety in like sum, by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.
Justice Okon Abang, the presiding judge, in a ruling on Tuesday, noted that the surety could be from any part of the country but must be a serving House of Representatives member, who must have a landed property in Abuja.
He added that the surety must attend every court proceeding with the defendant, till the end of the trial, and should the surety be absent in court without any justifiable reason, the bail shall be revoked.
Recall that in October, Faisal was arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) and those of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja, for pulling a gun on the operatives while trying to arrest his father.
