Former first lady of Lagos State and Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District, Oluremi Tinubu, has lamented the rate at which some youths in the state come to her family house for free money.
She said, “most of these youths don’t want to work”, adding that “the moment you give them work to do, they fall sick.”
She said this while speaking on a Lagos Television programme on Saturday morning.
According yo her, youths of these days are interested in making quick money, “but they don’t want to work before making the money”, while adding that, “our youths are very rude because they want to be like all those people abroad.”
She said her New Era Foundation Patience Home had concluded plans to empower youths in her senatorial district.
More so, she said added that 10 youths from all the local governments under Lagos CentraI will be selected as beneficiaries of the empowerment initiative.
While enjoining youths in her senatorial district to contact their local government chairmen, Sen. Tinubu advised them to avail themselves of the opportunities provided by the foundation.
