Each of us does not want to be an enemy to ourselves. However, we often behave in such a way that we cut off the path to success. We do this subconsciously, but this does not make it easier. To achieve what you want, you need to “inventory” your habits and inclinations to realize them, analyze and get rid of them. Here are seven key internal hurdles to your success …
1. Whining and complaints
Nagging and complaints are not just bad habits, but factors that significantly affect the brain. The program for failure. If you get out of bed in the morning with negative emotions, then be sure that the day will be unproductive. One bad day draws a second, and a third, and so on until you are completely chubby. And there, and not far from the collapse.
Constant thoughts of bad reduce resistance to the daily challenges of the environment and business, you begin to act with a minimum of mental and physical effort, therefore, you do not have the opportunity to take your life to a new higher level. Moreover, variancetv, complaints, and nagging are contagious. Being constantly in a bad mood, you infect others with this mood, especially if you are a businessman and you have subordinates.
To be successful, you need to stop focusing exclusively on the bad and try to find the positive things that happened to you during the day. Thus, you ask yourself that on existing failures the light did not converge and tomorrow there will be a new day that will be better than the previous one.
2. Limiting beliefs
You put barriers on your own. If you constantly doubt a success, say “I can’t”, “I won’t succeed”, then, as a result, it will be so. A similar habit has the same mechanism of action as complaints. But if the first one reduces your resistance, then the second one completely deprives you of the opportunity to develop and achieve something.
In addition to taking new frontiers, limiting beliefs can also, deprive one of the strength and time to carry out any effective actions in the current critical situation, hamper decision making, lead to delays, laziness, and deviation from the intended path to achieving goals.
To be successful, you need to remember these monsters and realize that as soon as you give slack, you give birth and grow another monster. It is necessary to train your mind to build up the potential for success. Your thinking is your conscious choice.
3. Accusations of others
When things are not going very smoothly, the one who is most to blame is most angry. But such people always blame others for their failures, not seeing their guilt. They find thousands of evidence of their innocence. They demand that responsibility be taken away from failure. They never make mistakes, others just make mistakes. Even if something happens as a result of their actions, they blame everything on those who actively participated in the preparatory phase, and expose themselves as a martyr, a victim of circumstances and a simple executor of other people’s mistakes. And if suddenly the error was the result of their own decisions, then they “wanted the best, who knew …”.
Such “accusers” are selfish and emotionally immature. The main reason to blame others is to protect their ego and personal emotions, this is a whole philosophy of life, which over time turns into a tactic of anti-success since the negative is constantly nourished and cultivated by the performer himself.
From time to time, we all make selfish, selfish and thoughtless decisions. But unlike other people, “prosecutors” are characterized by a consistent structure for making short-term reactionary decisions, followed by blaming others. In order to get rid of this habit, you should research your emotional intelligence and start methodically working on emotional maturity: awareness of your guilt, responsibility, listening ability, listening ability, ability to answer reasonably (and not just criticize), the ability to accept someone else’s point of view, – and, as a result, grow.
If you don’t even allow yourself to think that you maybe wrong, you completely impede your personal growth by limiting your levels of success.
