2023 Elections: Tinubu’s Presidential campaign office opens in Osun

Despite maintaining his stans severally that he has no intention to run for president in 2023, a presidential campaign office bearing the names and photographs of the National leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been opened in Osun state.

The office it is understood is to aid in the electioneering campaign and strategic planning toward the election of the former Lagos State governor.

The 2023 Presidency of Tinubu has a big billboard mounted with the inscription: “Tinubu 2023. Tinubu is Non Negotiable, (TNN 2023)” – Sponsored by Hon Mutiu Kunle Okunola.

More so, the office used to be the campaign office of immediate past speaker of the Osun state house of assembly, Hon. Najeem Salaam, during the governorship race in 2018.

Posters of the former speaker were removed following his stepping down from the governorship race for the incumbent governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola.

The office is located almost directly opposite Oranmiyan house, the campaign office of immediate past governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, along Gbongan-Ibadan road, Osogbo.

However, you will recall that in April, rumours were rife that Tinubu was behind the choice of the leadership of the National Assembly to boost his ambition for 2023 Presidency, which he described as ‘senseless’.

He noted that his support for Ahmed Lawan and Femi Gbajabiamila was aimed at helping President Buhari succeed in the “shared vision of a flourishing economy and a prosperous people,” in his second term.
