Super Eagles Leave Abuja For London, Ahead of Friendly With England

Ahead of their friendly match against the Three Lions of England, the Super Eagles, today flew out of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja, for London.

The players will train at the Wembley Stadium upon arrival, the same venue of match. The match which is scheduled for Saturday, will kick-off by 5:15pm.

However, after the friendly, the team will jet out for Russia, venue for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The traveling team in order of position;

Goalkeepers: Francis Uzoho; Daniel Akpeyi; Ikechukwu Ezenwa

Defenders: Abdullahi Shehu; Olaoluwa Aina; Tyronne Ebuehi; William Ekong; Leon Balogun; Chidozie Awaziem; Elderson Echiejile; Kenneth Omeruo; Bryan Idowu

More so, coach Gernot Rohr, has confirmed that forward Moses Simon, who was earlier ruled out of the finals due to injury, will undergo further medical checks in the United Kingdom to ascertain the seriousness of his injury.
