Staff and students of the Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State, wept bitterly as Professor Abdulmumini Hassan Rafindadi, vacated his office as Vice Chancellor of the University yesterday.

Prof. Rafindadi, who kept a gloomy face all through, was amongst the 13 Vice Chancellors relieved of their duties by the Federal Government last week.

Both men and women wept bitterly, as some took to social media to express their sadness at his sack, while some others recounted their beautiful experience with the outgoing VC, before he was appointed VC and while serving as VC at the University.

Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State is one of the Universities built by the administration of Former President Goodluck Jonathan, which Professor Abdulmumini Hassan Rafindadi was the pioneer Vice Chancellor.
