President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday appointed Dr. DanAzumi Mohammed Ibrahim as the Director General, National Office for Technological Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP), an agency under the Ministry of Science Technology.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Agency’s Head of Media, Mr. Solomon Nshem, who said the appointment was contained in an official correspondence from the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Engr. Babachir David Lawal.
He said: “President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr. DanAzumi Mohammed Ibrahim as Director General/Chief Executive of the National office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP).”
The statement further added that Dr. Ibrahim, is a graduate of Agriculture from the University of Maiduguri, he holds a Master of Science degree in Soil Microbiology from the University of Newcastle Upontyne, United Kingdom in 1987 and a Doctorate degree in Soil Fertility from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi in 2004.
Before his appointment, Ibrahim was a Lecturer at the University of Maiduguri and served in various capacities at the Raw Materials Research and Development Council before his transfer to NOTAP in 2010.
