Fraud Alert: World Bank Dissociates Self From ‘Empowerment Intervention Programme’

The World Bank has dissociated itself from the much publicised ‘Empowerment Intervention Programme’.

According the financial body while describing the advertisement as a scam, said it has nothing to do with the said programmes, advising Nigerians to be wary of such as they are not involved with or aware about the programme.

This was made known in a statement issued on World Bank’s facebook page, it said:

Fraud Alert: World Bank Warns of ‘Empowerment Intervention Programme’ Scam

The World Bank’s attention has been drawn to a fraudulent pre-application process for an ‘Empowerment Intervention Program designed to Provide Grant/Funding to Entrepreneurs in 774 LGA in Nigeria,’ being advertised in some local communities within Nigeria.
Please note that:

· The World Bank is not behind this Empowerment Intervention Program
· The World Bank does not request for personal or financial information for applicants to its programs
The World Bank therefore advises the general public to verify any information regarding World Bank-assisted programs offered by the Bank at the following website: http://projects.worldbank.org/

The World Bank will not be held responsible for any refunds of fees solicited by fraudsters purporting to act on its behalf.

Men, Women into business, School dropout, Disabled Persons, Farmers, Miners, ICT Professionals, Actors and Musicians etc
Once your application is received you shall be invited to the *World Bank Intervention Seminar on 22nd October 2018* holding at various Centres in Nigeria for proper documentation.
