Operatives of the Department of State Security Services stormed the headquarters of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), on Monday, in Abuja.

The operatives who were said to be working on orders from above, asked all the staff and those who took over the helms of affairs of the office by force since July 2, 2018 to vacate immediately.

However, after making sure all the offices were empty, the operatives led the Secretary General of the NFF, Muhammed Sanusi, who arrived after some hours to his office, where he had resumed duties before the Supreme court sacked him and his boss, Amaju Pinnick.

The President’s office was also cleared in readiness for the resumption of Amaju Pinnick, who had been away supervising the CAF roundtable symposium on Africa’s performance at the recently-concluded 2018 World Cup in Russia. He is scheduled to return to Nigeria on Tuesday.
